A day of dreaming and conversing about the possibilities of exchanging knowledge and skills in hopes of building reciprocal gestures of strengthening our community. On May 10th from 14.00 to 21.00, we will celebrate the gift of sharing stories and memories rooted in our families, especially from our mothers, to harvest various forms of generational knowledge.

We will get our hands dirty with a full programme consisting of Batik Writing, Experimental Embroidery and Pocketmaking, and Archival Zine Making and Manifesto (Book)Binding. We will build a collective living archive rich with stories, dynamic encounters, and creative expressions through collaboration. As the sun begins to set, we will host a communal dinner to conclude the day. The results of these workshops will be displayed in MidWest to demonstrate how collective archiving can be translated into tangible forms.
